sec 1s were still a little bit confused about what to do for setting up :/ none of us dared to move the percussion instruments so we went for stands and chairs. but there's also a limit to the number of stands we need and the chairs are most of the time alr in the ks chee. we can also arrange the chairs and stands but we don't know how many chairs and stands there are in each row etc etc :x
screwed up at sectional warm-ups x.x i need to work on tonguing and need to be more familiar with the exercises and B major scale! AND STAMINA SHEESH I REALLY NEED TO WORK ON THAT X.X i have the weakest stamina among my sbms T.T
was called away by mr oura with joyce to practice on our embouchure (i also have the worst embouchure among my sbms T.T) mr oura is a nice person and a good teacher(:
then went back to ks chee to join main band! daily warm-ups were once again horrible but at least i improved(:
then worked on the bells of sagrada familia! our syf piece for next yr(: first time playing it (just received the scores that day so i was desperately sight-reading O: )and me and sarah were the only 2nd clarinets that day (heehee i like playing with sarah(: ) so we newbies were all alone D: and it was scary when he told the 2nd clarinets and some other instrus to play a part and the 2nd clarinets were playing the melody D:
but it was funn(: sagrada familia is really nice^^ heehee love part A even though my high notes were hard to reach ): zomg the demisemiquavers were really o.O how does someone get all the fingerings in such a short amount of time? O: haha just as mr goh told us to, i just made sure i played the first and the last note and even if the middle is screwed it will still sound quite ok(: but of course i still need to practice and make it as perfect as possible...sounds so much nicer(:
and kylie was instructed by mr oura to play the piano part! haha so cool(: but i think i will freak if he chose me. coz i will be the only one playing the piano and i'll feel very self-conscious and STRESS and it will affect my..er...actions? haha xD go kylie!
after setting down the bandemoniums sat together and me and sarah played stress! :D she almost won me but luckily just at that moment the commanders took dismissal. so she didn't win me! :DD

sectionals because there was no instructor prac! i think it was really really productive(: the sec 1s broke up and our directs went through london bridge with us one-to-one. got ying qin and i think i annoyed her by keep on making mistakes and getting the rhythm wrong D: sorry ying qin! grah my sense of rhythm is really lousy ): and tonguing too. and sometimes when yq points out something i do make an effort to correct my mistakes but sometimes oops! i forgot d: mental note to self to always bring pencil to band.
finally played london bridge completely and learnt a lot of new things to help with my playing of london bridge(: afterwards worked on sagrada familia and felt more productive because i kept practicing haha xD

setting up was better yay! :D sectionals were better too! today i suddenly had a lot of stamina O: but i still need to work on the high notes they are really screechy and blasty and have undertones d: and articulation rawr my tongue is so inactive d:

also worked on sagrada again(: the first time we played we played the whole piece from top to bottom! :D haha so cool but the end was really messy ._. got lost at the triplets part ._. aft that we worked from the energico part to part i? or h? or j? heehee me like(: the fingerings are especially tricky but it's funn when you learn how to play them very fast haha xD
haha mr oura took out a vuvuzela to demonstrate how we should articulate for the energico part xDD (i think he forgot to take it back ._.)
aiyo today so accident-prone. keep on dropping pencils, tuners, scores with sarah -_-
aft setting down the sec 1s played flop!, this super lame game invented by the super lame devni xD
haha it's sad that now we have to go home so late but at least band makes me happy so i won't go home a depressed person xD
