Hello batch! Why is this blog so dead T___T
Haha, I know that a few batchies have already posted about Sec3/ 2012, but I felt that this issue should be highlighted!
Yupp lol the title says it all. I'm really frightened by the prospect of getting Sec1s to take care of for two whole years. I mean, it's kind of extreme, the way that we're expected to 'mentor' (a) junior(s) until the time we graduate (and maybe beyond that). And the fact that their interest in band, their passion in music, and their eventual bond to the CCA is all in our hands is a BIG duty scares me.
I feel that we shouldn't just wait for them to appear, then expect ourselves/ our SBs to somehow teach/ mentor them without a proper plan; that's why I find what the Clars are doing is a great idea.
So basically I was poking around in the batch corr before band started one day (like I always do when y'all ignore me tsktsk) and I saw in Joyce's hands a piece of paper with a lot of words. I spotted 'June Juice' and idk, some other things so I kpo-ed and asked her what it was (like I always do when y'all ignore me tsktsk). Turns out it was a plan! For what they were going to do when they get their directs! /dramatic gasp and drumroll
Okay maybe they're not the only ones doing that and we're the only SB that has been ignorant and stupid. Pssh. But well I thought I should just be happy and silly and share this with you guys who are as nervous and lost as I am and want to start out up-directing (does that sound right .___.) right.
So go go go! Spread the love and cheer! :D /gets bricked
Okay okay, joking aside, we should all do something of that sort, to prep ourselves for this. Lol I sound like we're preparing for a war TTATT but well it's a really smart idea, yeah? x)
Need to do the Candenza Camp proposal now 8D SEE YA GUISE MONDAY! ♥
